Sharing our enthusiasm for art and cultural history and sparking it in others: that’s what we’re about at the Städel Museum—with passion and a wide range of different approaches. Our museum-education work is known worldwide as a standard-setter for its innovative ideas. Both on site at the Städel and online, we offer a whole spectrum of formats, in part interactive, for building knowledge, encouraging creativity and kindling curiosity. Our aim is to shed light on background facts and interconnections and invite questions and discourse.

Targeting all age groups, our offers are as appealing to people already familiar with art as to newcomers in the art world. Our museum-education programme also provides socially marginalized groups opportunities for learning and participation.
