The Städel Museum has already long been investing in a successful and diverse digital strategy for communicating the themes of our special exhibitions and the contents of our collection independently of a museum visit.
This enables us to reach more people—and spark enthusiasm for art in them. Support from foundations in the production of digital formats such as podcasts or the exhibition-accompanying Digitorials and audio guides plays a major role in these efforts. We seek to work with our foundation partners to develop ideas and innovative approaches to making 700 years of art experienceable at home or on the go, on desktops, tablets and smartphones.
