Live Music, DJ, Art & Drinks in the Städel Garden

Chill out vibes on warm summer evenings in the Städel Garden! At the new “Sunday Sessions”, the Städel Museum, together with Riverside and AMP, invites you to meet up with friends in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoy the sunshine, and discover contemporary art at the Städel. The Riverside Collective provides groovy live music and DJ sets, and Frankfurt’s AMP bar offers cool drinks and delicious food for an unforgettable Sunday.

Programme

Experience Contemporary Art

From 4 to 6 pm, young art mediators guide visitors through the Contemporary Art galleries, which offer an overview of art since 1945.

There will also be short guided tours of the exhibition “Mirror of Thoughts” by the artist duo Muntean/Rosenblum and of selected works of art in the Städel Garden.

Riverside

Since 2022, the Riverside artist collective has been revitalising Frankfurt’s music scene beyond the banks of the Main with Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Afro, Latin, and Soul, creating meeting places in the city with an international flair. Around the Riverside Collective, musicians and artists from a wide range of genres meet and improvise together.

AMP

The summer evenings are rounded off culinarily with special drinks and tasty snacks from the AMP bar. Among the mix of international classics and original creations, AMP’s high balls are perhaps the best in the city.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic blankets. A limited number of blankets can be borrowed on site for a deposit.

Please do not bring your own food and drinks into the garden.
