SCULPTURES AND INSTALLATIONS
The Städel Museum has among its holdings some six hundred sculptures and installations of the nineteenth to twenty-first centuries. They include works by such eminent artists as Auguste Rodin, Wilhelm Lehmbruck, Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Hermann Glöckner, Carsten Nicolai and Tobias Rehberger. A selection of these objects is presented in the museum’s permanent exhibition galleries and the garden.
Sculptures pre-dating 1800 are on display in the neighbouring Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung (http://www.liebieghaus.de).
